The context

Gaza's tech talent is ready

Since October 7th, 2023, Gaza has faced devastation. Hundreds of thousands are displaced, humanitarian aid is blocked, and rebuilding is stalled. Gaza's tech graduates — many of whom finished their degrees just before, during, or just after the war — have had no chance to work, earn, or gain experience.

Skilled but unemployed

Thousands of engineers and developers graduated into a war zone — with no job market, no economy, and no path to experience.

Remote work opens doors

Remote internships bypass physical borders. A developer in Gaza can contribute meaningfully to a project anywhere in the world.

Our response: a funded remote internship program connecting Gaza's graduates with organisations working for Palestine and just causes worldwide, giving them the real-world experience they deserve.

  • Mentorship — a volunteer industry mentor supports your intern throughout the placement.
  • Contracts & salary payments — handled end-to-end by our partner Apricot International.

  • Tasks & management — assign real work, give direction, and keep the intern fully utilised.
  • A remote working relationship — treat them as a valued junior team member.

Key requirement: you must be able to provide real tasks, management, and direction, so the intern is fully utilised and gains genuine professional experience. This is a two-way commitment.

    Contracts & payment set up

    Through our partner Apricot International, employment contracts are issued and stipend payments arranged. Your intern is ready to start.

    GTM

    A volunteer tech mentor is paired with your intern, providing remote guidance and unblocking technical challenges throughout the placement.
